Accepting Nominations for 2023-2024 AESC Board
Are you moving to the DC area this summer?  Would you like to get more involved with AESC?  Being involved is a great way to make new friends, learn more about the area, provide a service to our Engineer community, and learn more about the wonderful things our Engineers and their spouses are doing around the world.
We're looking for members to serve on the AESC Executive Board from July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024.  The President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and AEMA Chairperson are elected through a vote of our membership.  This election is generally held in May.  General board positions are filled by volunteers in consultation with the incoming President.  You do not need to live in the DC area to be a part of our board! Our current board members live all over the country; our Circulation Chair is stationed in Germany.
The following general board positions do need to reside in the local area: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Castle Boutique, Historian, Hospitality & Reservations, Membership, and Parliamentarian.
The duties of all the board positions are listed in the Bylaws.  If you're interested in serving on the AESC board for 2023-2024 or would like additional information about a position, please email Brenda Schultze or Bette Meuleners at [email protected]
